Supplying art to private and corporate collectors.

Aviva has been accepting commissions to portray wild animals and pets for over 15 years.

Her portraits capture the individuality, character and idiosyncrasies of each animal, whether a wild animal or a family pet.

Specific requirements

Before starting a commissioned piece the artist needs to discuss any specific requirements with the client.  Before contacting Aviva, it is helpful to have an idea of:

  • size of  work of art
  • single or multiple animals
  • full body or head & shoulders
  • medium to be used [watercolour, sepia pen and ink drawing]
  • titling
  • timescale of commission
  • specific details eg. collar on/off, younger, slimmer

General guidance

Consultation

Consultation is free.  As a general guide commissions start at £300.00 for a sepia pen and ink drawing.

Deposit

Once the artist has been accepted and a fee agreed, a non-returnable deposit agreed between artist and client is payable in advance.

Photographs

Aviva works from photographs and is always delighted if she is also able to meet the animal.  If she is required to travel to visit the client, there may be a charge for expenses incurred.

2 or 3 photographs should be supplied which are CLEAR, DETAILED and CLOSE-UP.  Photos should be taken from eye-level clearly showing the eye(s) of the animal(s).  All photographs will be returned to the client upon completion of the commission and should have contact details on the back.

Signed by Artist/Conservation Mounted

All original artwork and all Fine Art Prints are signed by the artist.  They are supplied mounted to conservation standards with a backing board, using archival quality materials.
