| Info | Around 1180 land was provided for a chapel to be built “to the glorious honour of the martyr Thomas of Canterbury.” In 1927 the Diocese of Portsmouth was created and the parish church of St Thomas became Portsmouth Cathedral. The building was completed in 1991. |
